Born in France in the early 60’s, Claude Bourbon grew up in Switzerland, where he was classically trained in music for many years. This finger picking guitarist has performed and studied all over the world; he has crafted an unbelievable fusion of classical and jazz, with ethereal Eastern influences, Spanish and Latin elements with strains of Western folk.
“…His sound instantly creates ambience – from haunting Spanish moods to lyrical, romantic jazz, Claude Bourbon provides both a rich evening of music for lovers, and a real treat for music lovers…”-BBC, UK
Born and raised in Harlem, NY, Adam Rafferty was mugged in front of the very building he lived in when he was just 10 years old. He was playing in a hard rock band by the age of 12, and by the age 15 he’d had his first run-in with the dark side of the music business, having gotten ripped off by a club owner on his first gig. By age 18 he had already accomplished a gold record overseas in the genre of Rap music. Now a full time guitar player, Rafferty refers to his past as “paying dues,” a sentiment that can be heard in his music today.
Adam’s mix of well-known pop songs and original compositions will satisfy listeners from different backgrounds. Those who yearn for the familiar, and those who want original music, will both delight in this musical experience.
