Grammy Award-winning, passionate and playful, Al Petteway & Amy White are an acoustic music duo that draws inspiration from musical traditions across the globe and distills this myriad of styles into a rich and unique voice. They capture the hearts of audiences with colorful stories of life in their own back yard in the Appalachian Mountains of Western North Carolina. Currently their music is featured in the Ken Burns' documentary, “The National Parks – America’s Greatest Idea.” Their “Land of the Sky” multi-media show debuted on Earth Day at the National Geographic’s Grosvenor Auditorium in the spring of 2005 and continues to be a very popular presentation.
